a little bit of my history
i have a unique range of skills and experiences across 3 industries and am available for you to benefit from.
i started in the print industry during 1989 with snap printing at the corporate training school in king street, perth as a print machinist. i qualified as top student and was contracted to melbourne for 5 years working at various centres. After returning to perth I worked at snap before embarking to london where i worked at kwikkopy for their global #1 franchise. when i returned to perth, i rejoined snap performing graphic design, pre-press and customer service before embarking on my own printing business in subiaco for 8 years.
after 15 years in the print industry i decided on a career change to expand my knowledge base and joined the foodbev industry for 15 years working at coca-cola, asahi and schweppes during which time i gained quals as a food technologist alongside iso, gmp, haccp and process control standards.
during a short period between jobs, i studied online for qualifications in web design with prime learning thanks to the govt 'productivity placement program' with fee free study.
i then took a 5 year hiatus from the workplace attending to carer duties for a parent with dementia. After the loss of my parent i decided to do what i enjoyed the most - which is providing services for business visual communications and helping others progress with their commerce related dreams.
as the digital era has progressed quickly, i returned to study at tafe and am currently updating my web qualifications whilst also establishing layout labs creative. i am available to guide your design and visual communications requirement. i hope to work with you and your plan to achieve success.
